the brightness of transformation & old work...

Been working hard to purge out the rest of our our house as well.  In doing so, David unearthed another one of my old paintings.  The first one he found I spoke of here .   I was surprised to see that this one was painted 4 years earlier.  I didn't remember that I had painted for that long of a time span back then.  It's hard to believe that I took an approximate 20 year hiatus from painting.   Blows my mind actually, that I unconsciously compartmentalized it and the overwhelming pull of it didn't resurface for so long. 

As Dragonflies age, they may pass through several color changes...the more I think about my life from back then to now, I'm seeing my own shifts of color & transformations in a new light.

Still sheding layers and becoming lighter and freer everyday...
